Regardless of the physiological stage considered, quality control of feed and water contributes strongly to attainment of farmers’ technical and economic objectives. Antimicrobial compounds produced by microorganisms (antibiotics) have been used for decades in poultry diets to effect this quality control of feed and improve the health and performance of animals.

However, consumer pressure related to the potential development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria has resulted in the development of non-antibiotic feed additives that may also improve animal health and  performance.

In recent years, ORGANIC ACIDS, AROMATIC PLANTS and their EXTRACTS as well as TOXIN BINDERS/NEUTRALIZERS have received attention as growth and health promoters in livestock. Acidification is an excellent means of achieving this control.

The use of acidifier complexes in feed minimizes the development of pathogenic flora in feed and gut, and therefore optimizes digestive function by promoting beneficial acidophilus bacteria.

Essential oils on the other hand enhance the production of digestive secretions, stimulate blood circulation, exert antioxidant properties, reduces the level of pathogenic bacteria and also enhance the immune status of animals.

FEED AVENUE LTD IS PLEASED TO INTRODUCE YOU
PREMIX LAYER 2,5 %

GALLIMIX is a blend of coated organic acids, essential oils and aroma substances produced by a leading French premix manufacturer, to afford your chickens and pigs a healthy intestinal microflora which will boost feed conversion and prevent the development of pathogenic bacteria and fungi. It is a completely natural product, and can be used in organic production systems, where antibiotics are excluded.

GALLIMIX can be used in feed of poultry and pigs for a complete control of pathogenic bacteria at a dosage of 400g-700g per ton of complete feed.

Always remember to use a potential toxin binder like DEFITOX for its 4-synergestic actions against mycotoxins.
